Melodic Minor Scales

The Melodic Minor Scale varies from the Natural Minor Scale by the 6th and seventh notes, which are raised a semi-step. This scale is likewise some sort of particular since it is now and then played  differently ascending and descending.

In Classical Reason, Melodic Minor Scale in A, is played by Ascending: A, B, C, D, E, F#, G#, A, while by Descending: A, G, F, E, D, C, B, A. That is, when you go up ascending scale, you are running the Melodic Minor Scale, but when you go down descending scale you are using the Natural Minor Scale. 

So basically when you play the A Melodic Minor scale on piano you play these notes when ascending:
